my diagnosis is ptsd (w comorbid condition: suicide)

after 801 days, i found the care i need: an analytical psychologist.

analytical psychologists provide care to people w suicide.

the top 3 search results for “find an analytical psychologist” were sponsored results and upon completing their multi step processes, none of those three search resources returned information on analytical psychologists. i stopped on one when it asked for my sexual identity before my diagnosis/allowing me to access the search tool. that is not better help or help at all.

the first unsponsored result provided easy access to a difficult search tool. it used unclear geographical search parameters and resulted in unreliable contact info/no clear procedure on how to contact a provider from there.

i’m not in crisis.

i know my diagnosis.

i know the care i need.

knowing what i need isn’t the last step. i need easily accessible and reliable information regarding providers who are licensed to offer specific care.

access to care is suicide prevention. it has to happen in moments and for a lifetime. both are hard to find even when you know what you’re looking for.

801 > 1

during suicide awareness and prevention month, math like this reminds me what helped me understand my higher power. my power starts in 1.

if we know the hours practitioners are likely to be in their office for a sales call, we can collect a broad range of factual data that can help guide individuals into appropriate care.

let's see what we’re made of, mental health care industry. who can develop a search resource available to all that will help individuals efficiently find analytical psychologists? the data is available and hard to access. we have an opportunity to gain 800 days of suicide prevention.
